Chris Ferry

President

Christopher Ferry is a partner and Vice President of Ellavoz Impact Capital located in Belmar NJ. Mr. Ferry has over thirty-five years experience in real estate development, management and marketing. He has founded or been an early investor in several companies in the areas of real estate, bioinformatics & technology.

In his volunteer commitments, Mr. Ferry has served on the Wall Township committee for rent control, coached youth soccer for over 20 years and was a longtime executive board member of the Wall Soccer Club. He now also serves as President of the Board of Trustees for Ocean Housing Alliance, a full care residential home to 48 residents with special needs.

He received his B.A. from Monmouth University in Political Science and his M.A. in International Relations from Fairleigh Dickenson University.

Diana Farrell

Secretary, Trustee

Diana Farrell recently served as Executive Director of Ocean Housing Alliance, a not-for-profit that provides housing, support and services for low-income adults that have special needs.  In May 2025 she started in a new role, Director of Income Development.  She began as a volunteer with Ocean Housing Alliance over 20 years ago. Prior to becoming the Executive Director, she served on the Board of Trustees.

Diana received a BA from Washington College, Chestertown, Maryland and an MA from Monmouth University, West Long Branch, New Jersey. She retired from the New Jersey State Parole Board where she served as an officer and a sergeant. 

Beth Ferry

Trustee

Beth Ferry is the author of over 40 books for young readers, including Stick and Stone, The Scarecrow, and Growing Home. Beth received her B.A. in English from the College of William and Mary and her M.S. in Education from Monmouth University. In addition to picture books, Beth also writes graphic novels for emerging readers and early chapter books.

Tom Lictenheld

Trustee

Tom Lichtenheld makes book for children and people who used to be children. He is the author and illustrator of over 40 books for young readers including I Wish You More, Goodnight, Goodnight, Construction Site and Duck, Rabbit. Before moving to picture books, Tom worked in advertising. He lives with his wife in Illinois.

Maya Scully

Trustee

Maya Scully is a consultant at Deloitte in New York City. She grew up in Philadelphia and went to North Carolina to receive a B.S. at Wake Forest University – majoring in Business Enterprise Management and double minoring in Engineering and Studio Art.

 In Winston-Salem, she was a founding member of Wake Women’s Lead, a program dedicated to teaching literacy to lower-school girls in underserved communities around campus. And for Best Buddies, she was a peer buddy to children with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

 In Philadelphia, Maya was a founding member of Philly Phit, a program that taught Boys & Girls club children the value of self-care and health in a fun and engaging way. She also volunteered and led fundraising at Blossom UCP, a care program for adults with Cerebral Palsy.
